60 Minute Makeover Episodes

Tamworth – Birmingham 2018

This was our fourth 60 Minute Makeover and I have to say I was thrown in at the deep end with this one. We were asked to make some roll up blinds for the children’s bed so they could have a hideaway.  This was the only bit of soft furnishings the team needed on this makeover and although it was a small project we were happy to help out.

With blinds in toe, I drove the 2-hour trip down to Tamworth and got there around lunchtime where I was greeted by the filming crew who said they were ready for me now.  I didn’t have time to put makeup on or anything and was whisked upstairs where Linda Barker and Peter Andrea were waiting for me filming.  I ended up being in front of the cameras this time in an interview with them.   Unfortunately, I couldn’t get find the episode for this and as I went home directly afterward there aren’t many pictures.

Clifton – Manchester 2017

This was our third 60 Minute makeover where we worked with the fabulous and very talented John Amabile.  We also worked alongside  Peter Andre for this episode and I have to say I was a little bit star-struck.  I grew up with rather a big crush on Peter after watching the video of him singing Mysterious Girl back in the ’90s.  I have to say he was one of the loveliest, sweetest people you will ever meet and he is totally down to earth.

Anyway back to the design… John created this beautiful lounge for a Lady in Clifton who spent her life working as a charity worker.  She totally deserved having a 60-minute makeover.

Heaton – Manchester 2015

This was our second 60 Minute Makeover which was located in Heaton in Manchester.  The lady who had the makeover worked as a disability charity worker and devoted her whole life to helping others.  When we heard about her story we wanted to help out.

Middleton – Manchester 2014

This was the first 60 Minute Makeover we were asked to take part in and probably the scariest.  As it was our first television program we hadn’t got a clue what to expect.  We were on set from 6 a.m and were there until around 6 p.m.  Whilst we were there we meet some lovely people including Grace and her Auntie who had arranged the makeover for Grace’s mum.  The designer was the very talented Leah Hughes who was lovely and we worked through the design of the curtains together to get the finished look she wanted.
